CEC Registration

This is the home page for Mastercard^®s Card Eco-Certification Scheme (subsequently referred to as "CEC Scheme").

Please select what you want to do from the list below in the area titled "What would you like to do?".

Please note that to:

• View Environmental Claims,
• View CEC Baselines and CEC Requirements,
• View information about participating vendors,
• Create or work on your own Environmental Claims

you need to register with the CEC Scheme first, following these steps:

• Click on Register as a participant to the CEC Scheme
• Enter your contact information,
• Receive an e-mail from the CEC website with an e-mail address confirmation link,
• Click the e-mail address confirmation link to confirm your e-mail address,
• Your successful e-mail confirmation will be confirmed by another e-mail.
• To increase your chances of being registered successfully to the CEC Scheme, please use your company e-mail address as the primary e-mail address. It is likely that applications using gmail or similar generic addresses will be rejected.
• If you do not successfully confirm your e-mail address, your registration request will simply be deleted without any further communication.

Following successful confirmation of your e-mail, your registration request will be reviewed by the CEC Administration. This typically takes a few days, and may take up to two weeks.
If your registration request is accepted, you will be provided login credentials for the CEC website.

• Register as a participant to the CEC Scheme
• Request a CEC Assessment, and view the related guidance
• Request a CEC Renewal, and view the related guidance
• Request a CEC Certificate Extension, and view the related guidance
• Request CEC LCA Support, and view the related guidance
• Prepare the CEC Assessment Plan (“cecAP”)

• Learn about the CEC registration and evaluation process
• Read the CEC Requirements
• Create and work on your own Environmental Claims
• View and compare Environmental Claims that have been successfully evaluated against the CEC Requirements
